Double rescue as lifeboat capsizes
Three people rescued from a yacht in difficulties off Spurn Head yesterday had to be rescued a second time when a lifeboat capsized.
The yacht Penn Player put out a Mayday call reporting they had gone aground, lost a rudder and had smoke coming from the engine The Humber RNLI Lifeboat was immediately launched and once on scene the smaller Y-class lifeboat went in to recover the 3 persons.
